Green III named Lou Henson National Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Bryant University men's basketball sophomore Michael Green III was named the Lou Henson Award National Player of the Week, announced by CollegeInsider.com on Monday, December 28.

Green III posted a career-high 33 points on 12-of-16 shooting to lift the Bulldogs to a 93-88 victory over Massachusetts on Monday, Dec. 21. The Bronx, New York, natives driving layup with 1:03 remaining broke an 84-84 tie and propelled Bryant to it's second win against an A-10 foe in as many years.

Named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week last Wednesday, Green III is the first Bulldog to score 30+ points in a game since Adam Grant in 2019. His 33 points are the sixth-most in a single-game in DI program history. Green III is now averaging 18.7 points per game, 4.7 assists per game and 4.1 rebounds per game.
