Bulldogs ranked No. 25 in mid-major poll

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team is ranked No. 25 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 released on Monday evening.

Off to its best start in Division I program history, the Black and Gold enter the College Insider rankings for the first time since the 2013 season. Bryant is 9-2 overall and leads the Northeast Conference with a 5-1 record. The Bulldogs have currently won six-straight games for just the third time in the last 16 seasons.

Bryant inclusion in the rankings showcases the relentless pursuit of progress of the progress that third-year head coach Jared Grasso has instilled. The Bulldogs have emerged as one of the nation's most explosive offensive teams, ranking fourth nationally at 91.4 points per game. Bryant also ranks third nationally in tempo (76.8), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.409), 17th in 3pt/g (10.3), 24th in effective field goal percentage (.559), 28th in field goal percentage (.491) and 32nd in free throw percentage (.765).

In 2013, Bryant entered the College Insider for the first-time ever after starting the year 7-4. The Black and Gold reached as high as No. 17 that season.
