THE SERIES
Friday night will mark the second time that Bryant and URI will meet as Division I opponents. The Bulldogs opened the 2018-19 season against the Rams, falling 97-63.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant was the highest-scoring Division I team on the opening night of college basketball, posting 122 points in a victory over Fisher. It marked the third time in the last two seasons that Bryant has scored 100+ points.
  2. Bryant also dished out a DI program record-tying 33 assists in the victory. Tyler Brelsford had a career-high 11 helpers to lead the way.
  3. Charles Pride scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to post his seventh-career double-double in the win over Fisher. Remarkably, it was just the third time in his career he's been Bryant's leading scorer. Two of the three occurrences have come in Bryant's last three games dating back to last year.
  4. Jared Grasso is 41-44 in his first three-plus seasons at Bryant. The Bulldogs have won 15 games in each of the last two seasons, just the second time they've accomplished that feat at the Division I level.
  5. Bryant was one of the nation's most exciting teams in 2020-21, finishing the season ranked fourth nationally in scoring per game and sixth nationally in tempo.
