THE SERIES

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant will be competing in the Sunshine Slam this weekend. The Bulldogs opened the MTE (multi-team event) last Friday with a regional round game against Rhode Island. The Sunshine Slam is hosted by the Gazelle Group. It features two four-team brackets. Air Force and Holy Cross are the other two teams in Bryant's bracket. The third-place game will be at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday with the Championship game set for 2:30 p.m.
  2. Peter Kiss returned to the Bryant lineup at Clemson and scored 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field. He added eight rebounds. Kiss enters the weekend just 18 points shy of 1,000 for his collegiate career.
  3. Chris Childs had one of the best three-point shooting days in program history at Clemson, making all five of his attempts. He is the first player in DI program history to do so. Childs has made 68 3s in 23 games (2.96/game) with the Black and Gold.
  4. Jared Grasso is 41-46 in his first three-plus seasons at Bryant. The Bulldogs have won 15 games in each of the last two seasons, just the second time they've accomplished that feat at the Division I level.
  5. After returning from Florida, the Bulldogs will have four days off before visiting Brown on Black Friday. Bryant will then return to the Chace Athletic Center to host Dartmouth on Sunday, Nov. 28. Tip is set for 4:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.
