THE SERIES
Bryant and Merrimack meet for the second time in less than a week on Thursday night. The Bulldogs earned a 79-63 victory last Friday in North Andover and have now won each of the last four meetings at the Division I level. Peter Kiss scored 27 points and Charles Pride had a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds in the victory last week.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. Bryant is now 7-1 in NEC play following Sunday's 85-68 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn. The Bulldogs have won four-straight games and are 7-1 in league play for the first time in program history.
  2. Peter Kiss posted his eighth 20-point scoring outing of the season on Sunday, finishing with 25. He now ranks sixth nationally and first in the NEC with 21.9 ppg. In league play, Kiss is averaging 24.7 ppg and has scored 20+ points in 12 of the 21 NEC regular season games he's played in his career. Kiss has also scored 25+ points in five of his last six games, the first NEC player to have a stretch like that since SFU's Darshan Luckey did it in six-straight games in 2002-03.
  3. Charles Pride is averaging 17.1 ppg and 9.3 rpg during NEC play this season following a monster weekend vs Merrimack and St. Francis Brooklyn. On Sunday, he became just the sixth player in DI program histoy to record 800+ points and 400+ rebounds in a career.
  4. Hall Elisias and Greg Calixte each finished with five blocks on Sunday vs SFC, becoming the first pair of NEC teammates to accomplish that feat in exactly 16 years. FDU's Gordon Klaiber and Andrea Crosariol both had five rejections on January 23, 2006. The five blocks were a career-high for Calixte.
  5. Bryant is 6-1 at home this season and 16-2 at home over the last two years. Under Jared Grasso, Bryant is 33-13 overall and 21-8 in NEC regular-season home games. Bryant has won 11-straight NEC regular-season home games.
