Bryant hosts Mount in Saturday's NEC Semifinals

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The top-seeded Bryant University men's basketball team hosts fourth-seeded Mount St. Mary's in the Northeast Conference Semifinals on Saturday night at the Chace Athletic Center. Tip is set for 6:02 p.m.

Saturday's game will be streamed on NECFrontRow and ESPN3. The winner of Saturday's game advances to the NEC Championship on Tuesday.

THE SERIES
Saturday's game is a rematch of last year's NEC Championship game. The Bulldogs are 11-16 against the Mount but won both regular-season meetings. Bryant won 73-66 in Smithfield and 62-61 at Mount.                

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

1. Bryant is the No. 1 seed in the NEC Tournament for the first time ever. Bryant's quarterfinal win on Wednesday was its second home quarterfinal win in program history and pushes the Bulldogs into the NEC Semifinals for the third time in program history. Bryant is 1-1 in the NEC Semifinals.  
2. Peter Kiss enters Saturday as the nation's leading scorer with 25.1 points per game. Kiss has scored 20+ points in 11-straight games and leads the nation with nine 30-point games.  
3. Charles Pride is second on the team in scoring with 18.0 ppg. He ranks fourth in the NEC in scoring and first in rebounds with 8.3.   
4. Kiss and Pride are the nation's highest-scoring duo, averaging 43.1 ppg.    
5. Bryant is 12-1 at home this season and 22-2 at home over the last two years. Each of Bryant's last two home games have been played in front of a sellout crowd.
