Kiss signs with Soles de Mexicali

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University men's basketball alum Peter Kiss has signed with Soles de Mexicali, a member of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP) in Mexico.  

Kiss played two seasons with the Black and Gold, finishing the 2021-22 season as the nation's leading scorer while leading the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament for the first time at the Division I level. The New York native averaged 25.2 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game and 3.2 assists per game. Kiss was named a finalist for the Lou Henson National Player of the Year and earned NEC Tournament MVP honors after scoring 34 points in the Bryant's victory. 

In just two years Kiss scored 1,046 points, becoming the fastest player in DI program history to reach the 1,000 point mark (48 games). He averaged 21.3 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game and 3.2 assists per game in his two years with the Black and Gold.
