Bulldogs in fourth after day one of Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University golf team carded a 580, four-over par and sit in fourth place after the first day of the Til Duty is Done Collegiate Invitational in Baltic, Conn.

The Bulldogs were in first following the opening round of 283, four-under par, but dropped three spots after their second of 297. Junior McKinley Slade (Saunderstown, R.I.) is currently tied for fifth with an opening two rounds of 141 (-3). Fellow junior John Roberts (West Hartford, Conn.) is tied for eighth and sits just two strokes behind Slade. No other Bulldog shot at or under par on the first day of the Invitational.

UConn's Zach Zaback and Rhode Island's Joseph Leavitt are tied for the overall lead with 137, seven-under pars, as their schools sit first and second with scores of 564 (-12) and 575 (-1), respectively.
