Henderson fires a career-best 68 in Hanover

HANOVER, N.H. – Senior Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.) fired a career-best 3-under par 68 to lead the Bryant University men's golf team to a 10th place finish on Day One of the Dartmouth Invitational in Hanover, N.H.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The team ended the day with a 5-over par 289, with Henderson registering five birdies en route to his career-low 68, landing him tied for fourth place.
  • Junior Nick Piersall (Portland, Conn.) was the second-best finisher for the Bulldogs, carding a 2-over par 73 after recording four birdies and tied for 36th place on his day.
  • Sophomore Tyler Hahn (Avon, Conn.) and freshman Jonah Klaasen (Westlake Village, Calif.) both finished with a 3-over par 74 and one birdy each, tying for 45th place.
  • Senior Matthew Stafford (Suffield, Conn.) rounded out team-scoring for Bryant, ending the day tied for 62nd place with a 6-over par 77 and two birdies.
  • Classmate Mario Wilson (Taunton, Mass.) competed as an individual and finished the day in 71st place with a 9-over par 80.
