Bryant finished seventh at UConn Collegiate Invitational

HAMPDEN, Mass. – Junior Nick Piersall (Portland, Conn.) was the top individual finisher the Bryant University golf team as the team tied for seventh with Siena College at the conclusion of the UConn Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Bryant tied for seventh with Siena College with a score of 46-over par 910. The Bulldogs improved by 16 strokes and climbed down five spots from last year at Greathorse.
  • Piersall shot on par in the third round of the tournament to give him an overall score of 8-over par 224. The junior tied for 15th in the individual standings and improved his score by exactly ten strokes from a year ago at Greathorse.
  • Jonah Klaasen (Westlake Village, Calif.) posted his best round of the tournament as he shot one-over par 73 and finished in the 50 spot. Klaasen finished with a 17-over par 233.
  • Sophomore Tyler Hahn (Avon, Conn.) fell to 32nd after shooting 8-over par for a grand score of 13-over par 229.
