Piersall Named NEC Golfer of the Week

Somerset, N.J. - Nick Piersall of the Bryant Univeristy golf team has been named the Northeast Conference golfer of the week by the organization on Wednesday.

Piersall shot a two-under 70 in round one of the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational, which landed him in first place. He produced a three-over 75 during the final round and finished tied for second on the individual leaderboard. This is the second time this season Piersall has earned this award and finished top five in a tournament.

Teammate Jack Woods was named an NEC Prime Performer for his efforts in the FDU Invitational. In the second round, Woods posted a one-under 71 to finish tied for sixth.

The Bulldogs will compete in the Rhode Island Invitational beginning on April 12th.
