Fayetteville, Pa. - The Bryant Univeristy men's golf team is set to compete in the 2021 Northeast Conference Championships at Penn National golf course.
The Bulldogs will have six players traveling to Pennsylvania for the Championships. Bryant has played four tournaments this season and was victorious in the St. Peter's Invitational and their match against Holy Cross last week.
Nick Piersall is looking to continue his great season at the NECs. He leads the Black and Gold in strokes (441) and average (73.5) and in four tournaments played he has produced three top-five finishes. Jack Woods is second on the team with an average score of 75. Woods has had two top-ten finishes this year. Dan Kurson and Tyler Hahn both produced an average score of 76 during the season. Kurson finished tied for first against Holy Cross after shooting an even 69, while Hahn registered a six-over 76, which landed him tied for third in the same tournament. Doug Champagne and and Patrick Galleher ended the season with an average score of 77. Galleher has two top-ten finishes this year.
The NEC Championships will take place from April 23 - April 25.
