SMITHFIELD, RI – The Bryant University Department of Athletics and Recreation announce the hiring of Mike Pressler as its new men's lacrosse coach. Pressler was previously the head men's lacrosse coach at Duke University for the past 16 seasons, compiling a 153-82 record with three Atlantic Coast Conference championships, 10 NCAA tournament berths and an appearance in the 2005 Division I men's lacrosse championship game.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The Bryant University men's lacrosse season came to an end Wednesday afternoon as the Bulldogs dropped a 12-10 decision at second-seeded Merrimack College in a Northeast-10 Conference semifinal round game at Warrior Field. Jedd Storoshenko and Matt McKeefrey each had a pair of goals in the game.

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant men's lacrosse team was well represented on the 2006 Northeast-10 All-Conference men's lacrosse team announced today. The Bulldogs placed four players on the first team in Tim Duffany, Steve Coppinger, and Andrew Hennessey while freshman Matt McKeefrey was named second team all-conference.

EASTON, Mass. - Bryant University senior attackman Jedd Storoshenko (left) of Bayshore, NY was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week while teammate Bryan Kaufmann of Putnam Valley, NY was recognized as the Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week the league announced this week. Bryant, ranked No. 9 in this week's USILA national poll, will travel to Merrimack on Wednesday afternoon for a conference semifinal round game starting at 4 pm.

SMITHFIELD, RI - Senior Jedd Storoshenko scored four goals and Bryan Kaufmann added three as the Bryant men's lacrosse team defeated Southern N.H. 13-8 in a Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinal round game Saturday afternoon at sunny Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs will advance to the conference semifinals where they will face second-seeded Merrimack College next Wednesday at 4 pm in North Andover, MA. Bryant fell to the Warriors 14-13 in overtime back on April 12.

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University men's lacrosse team will host Southern N.H. this Saturday in a Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Quarterfinal Round game at Bulldog Stadium starting at 1 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $2 for students, Bryant Students are FREE with I.D. The Bulldogs (10-4) enter the tourney as the No. 3 seed while Southern N.H.(6-7) is the No. 6 seed. The winner of Saturday's game will travel to Merrimack next Wednesday to face the No. 2 seed Warriors in North Andover, Mass. This will be the second meeting of the year between Bryant and Southern N.H. as the Bulldogs earned a 16-10 win in Smithfield back on April 12.

SMITHFIELD, RI - Freshman Bryan Kaufmann scored four goals and added an assist to help lead the Bryant University men's lacrosse team to a 16-3 win over Assumption College Wednesday afternoon at Bulldog Stadium. The win gives Bryant a 10-4 overall record heading into Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Quarterfinals. Bryant, the No. 3 seed, will host No. 6 Southern N.H. at Bulldog Stadium this Saturday starting at 1 pm. The winner of that game will advance to face No. 2 seed Merrimack Wednesday.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bryant University jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never relinquished the lead as the Bulldogs beat Bentley College 12-8 in Northeast-10 men’s lacrosse action Tuesday night. With the win Bryant improved to 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the NE-10, while Bentley fell to 4-6 and 4-4.

SMITHFIELD, RI – The #9 ranked Merrimack Warriors visited Bulldog Stadium to face off with the #8 ranked Bryant Bulldogs for a Northeast-10 Conference Battle. Behind a second half surge, the Warriors battled back from a five goal deficit and won the game in overtime 14-13. Merrimack improves their overall record to 6-3 while they push their unbeaten record in conference play to 5-0. The Bulldogs drop to 7-4 overall and are now 5-2 in the Northeast-10.
