US LACROSSE TABS 2010 U.S. MEN'S NATIONAL TRAINING TEAM

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- US Lacrosse announced Wednesday the 40 players who have qualified for the 2010 U.S. men's national training team following a three-day tryout at Bryant University. All 40 players, tabbed by a 14-member player selection committee, advance with an opportunity to compete in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship in Manchester, England from July 10-24, 2010. Bryant head coach Mike Pressler will serve as head coach for Team USA.

Top college and professional lacrosse players from around the country will be competing this week at Bryant University for 40 spots on U.S. Men’s Training Team that will participate in practices and exhibitions games on three weekends during September and October.

Exactly 372 fans took in Bryant University's 13-3 victory over Holy Cross last Wednesday in Smithfield, R.I., a day that marked the end of Zack Greer's scintillating career as a college attackman.
