SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Though it has spent just eight years at the Division I level, the Bryant University men’s lacrosse program has certainly stated its claim as a national threat over the past few seasons thanks the guidance and engineering of what will be 11th year head coach Mike Pressler.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Following a 10-5 season, two wins over top-10 opponents and an appearance inside the top-20 for the first time since 2014, Bryant University men’s lacrosse seniors Collins Gantz (Denver, Colo.) and Gunnar Waldt (Freeland, Md.) have been selected as participants in the 2016 USILA/Nike North/South Game.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After guiding their team to a 10-5 regular season and share of the Northeast Conference regular-season title, Bryant University men’s lacrosse senior captains Shane Morrell (Glen Mills, Pa.) and Gunnar Waldt (Freeland, Md.) and junior attackman Tucker James (Essex Fells, N.J.) have be named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All New England Second Team, as announced on Tuesday, May 10.

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – In a low scoring game full of turnovers and physical defense, the Bryant University men’s lacrosse team had a chance to net the equalizer with 30 seconds to play, but a pair of shots were saved as Hobart shocked the defending Northeast Conference Tournament champs in Thursday’s semifinal matchup, 7-6.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s lacrosse team was forced into turning the ball over 23 times, but hammered down defensively and added timely goals across the game to take an 8-0 lead late into the fourth, holding on for a 9-3 victory over Sacred Heart in Tuesday’s Northeast Conference regular season finale.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s lacrosse team led, 4-2, after the first period, but was the aggressor on defense the rest of the game and found a grove offensively to start the third, as it did not allow a goal from that point on and cruised to a 15-2 win over Northeast Conference rival Hobart on Saturday’s Senior Day.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s lacrosse team grabbed a 9-8 lead with just over 1:30 to play in the fourth period, but St. Joseph’s found the equalizer with 10 seconds remaining, and netted the game-winner in OT to take Saturday’s back-and-forth Northeast Conference battle in Philadelphia.
