Connor Eschmann joins Bryant staff

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University head men's lacrosse coach Mike Pressler has announced the addition of Connor Eschmann to the Bulldogs' coaching staff as the program's volunteer assistant coach.

Eschmann joins the Black & Gold after spending the 2019 season on the staff at Williams College, where he helped lead the Ephs to an 18-4 record and their first appearance in the Division III national semifinals. Williams ranked in the top 30 of 240 Division III programs in scoring offense, assists per game and winning percentage in 2019.

Prior to his season at Williams, Eschmann played four years at Springfield College, where the Pride appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament in al four of his seasons. Eschmann appeared in 69 games, starting 52, while collecting 72 ground balls and 44 caused turnovers. As a senior in 2018, Eschmann recorded 30 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers.

"I am thrilled to welcome Connor Eschmann to our coaching staff," said Pressler. "Coach E is extremely professional and will bring a lot of energy and excitement to our players as we begin a new decade of Bryant Lacrosse."

Eschmann, a native of Wrentham, Massachusetts, graduated from Springfield in 2018 with a degree in criminal justice.

The Bryant University men's lacrosse team begins its 2020 season Sunday, Feb. 9, when Bucknell visits Beirne Stadium in the first of seven home contests this spring. Season and single-game tickets are available HERE.
