Caracciolo named to the USILA Team of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's lacrosse sophomore goalie Luke Caracciolo was named to the USILA Team of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.

Caracciolo made 16 saves to help the Black and Gold defeat in-state rival Providence College, 9-8, last Saturday at Beirne Stadium. A Centreville, Va., native, Caracciolo posted his 15+ saves in a game of the eighth time in his career. He was his best in the second quarter last Saturday, making 10 saves.

Bryant is back in action this weekend when it travels to Long Island to face No. 20 Stony Brook. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and the game can be viewed the Lax Sports Network and AmericaEast.tv.
