Caracciolo named NEC Defensive Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University men's lacrosse junior Luke Caracciolo was named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Caracciolo posted 13 saves, including a point-blank save at the buzzer, to preserve Bryant's 11-10 victory over Merrimack on Saturday.

In addition, Kevin Groeninger and Isaiah Davis were named NEC Prime Performers. Groeninger posted a career-high four assists, while Davis notched four points (3g, 1a) in the victory over the Warriors.

Bryant, ranked No. 19 nationally, returns to Beirne Stadium on Saturday afternoon to host Hobart.
