Bulldogs ranked in all three major polls

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's lacrosse team entered all three national polls on Monday, two days after claiming the programs sixth Northeast Conference title.

Bryant will enter the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 17 in the US Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 and No. 19 in both the Inside Lacrosse and USILA Top 20. This marks the second time this year the Black and Gold have been ranked. Bryant reached as high as No. 19 the US Lacrosse Magazine poll on March 30 following a 5-1 start.

The Bulldogs have enjoyed one of their best seasons in Division I history this year. Bryant opened the season 5-1, it's best start in program history, and its 9-3 record entering the NCAA Tournament matches the 2014 team for the best 12-game start in DI program history.

Bryant will face No. 4 seed Virginia in the NCAA First Round on Sunday, May 16 at 12:00 p.m. Faceoff is set for 12:00 p.m. and the game will air on ESPNU.
