Men's Lacrosse closes 2021 at No. 14

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's lacrosse team was ranked No. 14 in the final Inside Lacrosse Media Poll of the 2021 season.

Bryant's final ranking is its highest since finishing the 2014 season at No. 12. The Black and Gold enjoyed a banner year, going 9-4 and claiming the program's sixth Northeast Conference title.

The Black and Gold started the year 5-1, their best start in DI program history, and then closed the year by winning four of their final five. Bryant defeated top-seeded Saint Joseph's, 16-10, in the NEC title game before falling to eventual National Champion Virginia, 13-11, in the first round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships.
