SCOUTING THE FRIARS
The Friars are ranked fifth out of six in the Big East coming into the 2022 season. Providence is looking for another stellar season from their senior captain, Matt Grillo. Grillo led the team in goals (22) and ranked second in shots (90) in 2021. Grillo was a two-time Big East Attack Player of the Week and was selected to the Big East All-Tournament Team. Coming into the 2022 season, Grillo was named to the 2022 Preseason All-Big East Team.
