SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team travels to Vermont on Saturday to face the Catamounts. Faceoff is set for 11:00 a.m.

THE SERIES
Bryant has the edge of one game over Vermont with an all-time series record of 3-2. Each team has yet to lose on their home turf when facing one another. The last meeting between the two, Bryant triumphed over Vermont winning 15-12 where Logan McGovern notched four points and Bennett Abladian posted his first career hat trick.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
Vermont comes into Saturday's game 1-3 after losing a close one, 12-11, to Brown. That now marks their second one-goal loss in four games. Senior David Closterman leads the team in total points (13) and assists (7). Liam Limoges leads the team in scoring with 9 goals.

BRYANT NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • The Bulldogs enter the week at 2-2 after taking down Bellarmine on Tuesday 16-12.
  • Bryant is led by Coach Mike Pressler, who enters his 16th season on the Smithfield sidelines. He's posted a career record of 147-98 at Bryant.
  • Marc O'Rourke led the Bulldogs with a season-high seven points (5g, 2a) in Tuesday's game. He now has team-highs,19 points on 13 goals and 6 assists. 
  • Bennett Abladian has 12 goals of his own on the season and is second in team points with 13. 
  • Logan McGovern also has contributed 11 points with 3 of them being goals and 8 of them assists.
