Bulldogs fall to UVM on Saturday
BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 decision to Vermont on Saturday morning at Virtue Field.
Bryant falls to 2-3 on the year following the loss.
Marc O'Rourke and Kevin Groeninger each recorded a goal and an assist, while Luke Caracciolo made 14 saves. LaJhon Jones posted three caused turnovers.

- Bryant pulled within two goals at the start of the second quarter but the Catamounts answered with goals 45 seconds apart to take a 6-2 lead.
How it Happened
- Vermont scored first on Saturday but Groeninger was able to tie the score with a marker at 7:11.
- The Catamounts, however, would score the final three goals of the quarter to take a 4-1 lead after the first 15.
- Aidan Goltz then wired one home from 15 yards out to make it 4-2 just 90 seconds in the second quarter.
- Vermont would score two goals in a 45 second span, however, to take a 6-2 lead.
- Goals 30 seconds part by Vermont pushed the lead to 8-2 before O'Rourke scored with 2:51 left to make it 8-3 at the half.
- The Catamounts then scored the first three goals of third quarter to take an 11-3 lead.
- Mason Drouin ended the run but the Catamounts answered with the next three.
- Bennett Abladian and Pierce Gregory added fourth-quarter goals for the Black and Gold.
