Jack Kearney is in his third year as the volunteer assistant for men's lacrosse.

In his role, Kearney manages the in-game substitution box, assists with the defense, cutting game and practice film and assists with the implementation of weekly defensive schemes. Kearney also works with the goalies in all facets.

Kearney's first year saw a great deal of success as the Bulldogs won the Northeast Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Kearney coached Luke Caracciolo to NEC Tournament MVP and NEILA All-New England First Team honors. He was also a part of the staff that saw three earn All-NEC and the NEC Rookie of the Year.

In 2022, Caracciolo had six games in which he allowed single-digit goals. He also tied the Bryant program record with 20 saves in an 8-4 victory over LIU.

Kearney comes to Smithfield after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Post University in Waterbury, Conn.

At Post, Kearney worked with the defense, handled scouting reports and assisted with off-field team functions such as community service, fundraisers and travel logistics.

In addition to his time at Post, Kearney has also worked with Pomperaug Lacrosse and King Fish Lacrosse in Connecticut.
