Bryant hosts CCSU on Friday afternoon

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's soccer team welcomes Central Connecticut to the Bulldog Soccer Field on Friday afternoon.

Friday's game was moved to a 3:00 p.m. start.

The Series

• Bryant enters Friday's match with a 7-5-2 record all-time against Central Connecticut.
• The Black and Gold defeated the Blue Devils 1-0 last season, clinching a spot in the Northeast Conference tournament with the victory.

• Bryant enters the weekend at 4-3 overall and 1-0 in NEC play following a 2-0 shutout of Sacred Heart on Sunday.
• The Bulldogs have won three-straight games for the first time since the 2014 season.
• The Black and Gold have scored multiple goals in five-straight games for the first time in DI program history and rank second in the NEC with 1.71 goals per game.
• Sophomore Ben Williams (Unionville, Ontario) scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season on Sunday vs. Sacred Heart.
• Senior George Gill (Cork, Munster, Ireland) also scored on Sunday and now has three goals on the year. He hadn't scored prior to this season.
• Classmate Olivier Larente (Lasalle, Montreal, Canada) posted his first shutout of the season on Sunday and now has seven in his career.

• The Blue Devils enter the weekend at 0-6-1 overall and 0-1 in NEC play.
• CCSU has scored just four goals in seven games.
• Eddie Yepes has assisted on three of the four CCSU goals.
• The Blue Devils have given up 25 goals on the season.
