Spaulding named NEC Rookie of the Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University men's soccer freshman Jake Spaulding (Topsfield, Mass.) was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.

The honor comes after Spaulding posted a goal and an assist in Bryant's 4-0 victory over Central Connecticut last Friday. Spaulding registered his first-career assist on Ben Williams' (Unionville, Ontario) goal in the 36th minute and then scored his first collegiate goal off a corner in the 73rd minute.

Bryant, winners of four-straight matches, heads on the road this weekend for matches at Robert Morris and Saint Francis U.
