Friedman and Iqbal connect in the home loss to UNH

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Digger Iqbal of the Bryant University men's soccer team tallied a goal on the assist from Jakob Friedman in the Bulldogs' 4-1 home loss against the University of New Hampshire.

  • 12th minute - UNH 1, Bryant 0 - The UNH forward rifled a shot from the right side, which Luca Marinelli saved, but a Wildcat corraled the rebound and scored.
  • 41st minute - UNH 2, Bryant 0 - The Wildcats posted their second goal of the day on a corner that was headed in.
  • 65th minute - UNh 3, Bryant 0 - UNH was awarded a corner on the right side, which a Wildcat headed to his teammate, who kicked it in.
  • 69th minute - UNH 3, Bryant 1 - Friedman took the corner for the Bulldogs, which was on the right side of the field. Friedman sent the ball in front of the net with his left foot, which Iqbal headed in for the Black and Gold's first goal in America East play.
  • 81st minute - UNH 4, Bryant 1 - Eli Goldman took the ball the length of the field and cut right before sending the ball to the left side of the net.
