Bio

Nathan Kronwetter joined the staff in 2019 as an Assistant Coach. He helped the Bulldogs achieve an 8-8 record and advance to the Northeast Conference playoffs. Since Kronwetter has rejoined the team, the Bulldogs have a record of 16-17-5 and have made the playoffs in two of the three seasons. He also has coached five players to All-NEC selections, including two first-team selections courtesy of Alex DeCosta and Ben Williams.

Nathan Kronewetter brings 26 years of experience playing and coaching collegiate and international teams to Bryant. 

Kronewetter previously worked as the men’s head coach at the University of Maine at Farmington from 2017 to 2019. In his two years at UMF,  he helped lead the Beavers to the North Atlantic Conference playoffs. 

From August 2010 to December 2014, Kronewetter was the assistant coach at Bryant before he left to take a position at Western State Colorado University.

At WSCU, Kronewetter was the assistant coach of the DII women’s program. Following WSCU, he was also the women’s assistant coach and head interim coach at the DII California State University Monterey Bay. 

Kronewetter graduated from Hope College in Holland, Mich., where he was a four year starter and senior captain for the Flying Dutchmen. Nathan went on to play soccer in the USISL for the Grand Rapids Explosion and enjoyed brief spells in Sweden and Argentina for lower division professional teams. His coaching experiences range from assistant to head coaching roles with both men’s and women’s programs at Ohio Wesleyan University, University of Colorado and Alma College in Michigan. While at Ohio Wesleyan University, Nathan helped coach two NCAA Division III National Championship teams.  

Beyond the collegiate ranks, Kronewetter experienced several international coaching opportunities in Argentina as a guest coach, guest observer and International Liaison with Club Atletico Boca Juniors, River Plate and Club Alvarado on four different occasions.

Additionally, Kronewetter has several years of US Soccer Premiere Club coaching experience and has served as director of camps and as a coach at many elite soccer camps throughout the Midwest and western mountain states including Hope College, Ohio Wesleyan University, University of Colorado, Michigan State University and University of Notre Dame.

Kronewetter holds a national coaching diploma and license with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
