Mays named MAAC Swimmer of the Week

Smithfield, R.I. – Matthew Mays (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) of the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team was named the Metro Athletic Atlantic Conference Swimmer of the Week on Wednesday.

Against Marist on Saturday, Mays won the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke with times of 51.37 and 1:51.64. He also was on the relay team that finished second in the 200 medley relay. This is the first time that Mays has received this award.
