Bulldogs Win Eight Medals, Three Golds on Day 2

GENEVA, OH- The Bryant swimming and diving teams took home eight medals on Day 2 of the NEC Championships, including golds in the final three events. The Bulldogs swept the 200 medley relays, and Benjamin Prouty won the team's first individual medal in the three meter dive. The men sit atop the standings after two days, while the women are in second place.

  • The 200 medley relay team capped off the night with a gold. Alyvia Beaudion, Laurel Carey, Reagan Lord, and Julia Stenhard combined for a 1:41.78.

  • Elin Svard won 200 IM bronze in a photo finish, tying with Sacred Heart's Nicole Tingle at 2:06.95.

  • Laurel Carey finished third in the 50 free, earning bronze with a time of 23.56.

  • Natalia Kuipers and Erin Doruska (500 free) also scored points on the women's side.
