Bio

Chuck LoCurto, the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Northeast Conference Diving Coach of the Year, and member of the 2019, 2020 Coaching Staff of the Year.  LoCurto announced his retirement in March of 2019, but due to a coaching staff shortfall, he remained on as Head Diving Coach during the 2019-2020 season and has since re-announced his retirement from coaching.

LoCurto joined Bryant University in January of 2012, where he works as the school's VP and CIO of Information Services. He then was hired by head swimming coach Katie Cameron to begin the first diving program at Bryant. After LoCurto’s hiring, the Bulldogs fielded their first diver and became Bryant Swimming and Diving.  LoCurto has turned Bryant’s diving program into one of the best in the region.

In 2019-20, LoCurto's group once again topped prior year performances.  On the lady’s side, LoCurto coached the women to two NEC Diving Conference Championship titles and dominated the top spots by placing 1st, 2nd, and 4th on 3 meter, and 1st, 3rd, and 4th on 1 meter.  The points earned here helped to contribute to the team’s 3-time NEC Swimming and Diving Conference Championship victory.

It was also a record-breaking year for the men in 2019-20. For the first time in program history, three men made “A” finals on both 1 meter and 3 meter, while also putting 3 additional men in “B” finals on 1M, and 2 men in “B” finals on 3M enabling all 6 divers to score points at the championship meet.
