Bulldogs fall to Weber St. on Saturday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Bryant University men's tennis team closed its trip with a 4-3 loss to Weber St. on Saturday evening.
Bryant rallied back from 3-0 down to tie the match but couldn't complete the comeback. The Bulldogs finished their season-opening 10-game trip with a 3-7 record.

How It Happened
- Bryant opened doubles play with a victory at 2 but the Wildcats rebounded to win the point with victories at 1 and 3.
- Grant Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.) and Alexander Schou (Holte, Denmark) were victorious, 6-2.
- The Wildcats then jumped out to a 3-0 lead with victories at 2 and 1.
- Bryant, however, rallied to tie the match with victories at 4, 3 and 6.
- Schou capped a strong day with a 7-5, 7-5 win at 4, while Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) won in three sets (6-4, 5-7, 7-6) at 3.
- Andrew Pregel (Cincinnati, Ohio) then tied the match with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at 6.
- The deciding match at 5 went to three sets, with the Wildcats taking it 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
