GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Bryant University men's tennis team won each of the top two singles spots but it wasn't enough as East Carolina earned a 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday afternoon.

  • East Carolina won at No. 2 and No. 3 to take the doubles point.
  • The Pirates took a 2-0 lead but the Bulldogs tied things with wins at the top two spots.
  • Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2.
  • Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) tied things with a 7-5, 6-2 victory at No. 1.
  • The Pirates closed the match with victories at No. 4 and No. 5.
