Bryant downs rival FDU, 5-2, on Saturday
CUMBERLAND, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team defeated Northeast Conference rival Fairleigh Dickinson, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at Fore Court.
The Bulldogs have now won four straight and are 1-0 in NEC matches.

"It took us four hours to beat FDU. They are much improved and should provide a great battle in the NEC Tournament. Dominant win for Trent and Guido at No. 1 doubles and Wilson was outstanding at No. 1 singles."
How It Happened
- The Bulldogs picked up the doubles point with huge wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
- Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Trent Massam (Wellington, New Zealand) won 6-2 at No. 1 and Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) and Alexander Schou (Holte, Denmark) won 6-4 at No. 2.
- Dong and Argentini led the way in singles, posting wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Dong posted a emphatic straight-set win at 1, while Argentini battled to a 7-6, 7-5 victory.
- Schou added a three-set victory and Nick Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) won in straight-sets at No. 6.
