Bryant performs well at Army West Point Shootout

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team put together a strong performance at the Army West Point Shootout over the weekend.

"It was a solid weekend for us. I thought we played better Saturday than we did on Sunday. We're excited for the ITAs this week and look forward to hosting our Halloween Invitational at the end of the month."

Notes and Notables

  • Bryant enjoyed a strong doubles showing against Army, winning three of the four matches.
  • In singles against Army, Leonardo Mileikowsky, Marcus Macaulay and Andrew Pregel all picked up victories.
  • Bryant also won three of the seven singles matches with Monmouth.
  • The Black and Gold had a very strong showing against NJIT, winning all eight singles matches.
  • Bryant finished the weekend 14-10 in singles play and 5-5 in doubles play.
