Bulldogs fall to Brown, 5-2

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team fell to Brown, 5-2, on Thursday evening.   

How it Happened

  • The Bears were able to claim the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2. Andrew Pregel and Diego Trejo picked up a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles.
  • Bryant picked up victories at No. 3 and No. 6 singles. 
  • At No. 3, Teague Burger earned a three-set victory. He won the first set, 6-0, and rallied back to win the third set, 6-4.
  • At No. 6, Pregel closed a strong day by rallying from a first first-set loss. He won 6-4 and 10-5 to close it out.  
  • No. 1 singles and No. 5 singles also went to three sets.
