Bryant drops first two games of Battle at the Beach

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team has dropped its first two games at the Battle at the Beach in Wilmington, N.C.

Bryant fell to Marquette 4-2 on Friday before falling to Monmouth, 4-0, on Saturday.

• The Golden Eagles won the doubles points with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
• Diego Trejo and Diego Serra Sparrow won at No. 1, 6-0.
• Marquette closed it out with victories at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6.
• Teague Burger and Andrew Pregel each won in straight sets.

• The Hawks won at No. 1 and No. 2 to claim the doubles point.
