SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University softball team will compete in a weekend tournament against Norfolk State and Rider, with two games against NSU and one versus the Broncs.

  • Toni Camarillo recorded three hits over the weekend against UNC and Georgia. On Saturday, she recorded the 18th multi-hit game of her career in the 5-2 loss to UGA.
  • Kylie Kenney was named an NEC Prime Performer for her pitching over the weekend. She pitched ten innings in two games, striking out three while giving up six runs.
  • McKenzie McAloon scored the first runs of the season for Bryant, knocking a two-RBI double against Georgia, giving the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead.
  • The Black and Gold held UNC to two runs in their matchups on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Bryant recorded ten hits last week, including two extra-base hits.
