Bulldogs drop both against MSM

EMMITSBURG, MD. - The Bryant University softball team fell to Mount St. Marys in both games of today's doubleheader in Maryland this afternoon.

How it Happened (GM1)

• MSM hit a solo home run with two outs to take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
• During the bottom of the third inning, the Mountaineers added another run on a passed ball (2-0).

Stats (GM1)

• Allison Tomaino recorded the only hit for Bryant.
• McKeveny went six innings and struck out seven in the loss.

• Bryant tied the game at one, and MSM responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to regain the lead.

• MSM posted the first run of the game on a Bulldog error in the bottom of the third inning (1-0).
• Megan Marcel tied the game at one with a solo shot to deep center field in the top of the fifth inning.
• During the bottom of the fifth inning, the Mountaineers scored two runs on a home run and a single to left field (3-1).
