Bulldogs secure series win with victory over CCSU
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University softball team clinched their third Northeast Conference series victory of the season with a 5-3 victory over Central Connecticut on senior day at Conaty Park.

How it Happened
- Aleix Hudson began the bottom of the second inning with a triple. Megan Marcel was then walked, and Allison Tomaino laid down a bunt to put runners on second and third. A CCSU throwing error brought the first run home for the Bulldogs (1-0). Olivia Fee then hit a bloop single to right field, scoring two more runs (3-0). Jenna Gardner and Toni Camarillo hit back-to-back singles bringing the Bryant run total to five (5-0).
- During the top of the third inning, the Blue Devils scored two runs on a groundout and a single.
- CCSU hit a double down the left-field line to score the game's final run in the top of the fifth inning (5-3).
