Camarillo wins NEC Golden Glove Award

SOMERSET, N.J. - Toni Camarillo of the Bryant University softball team received the Northeast Conference Golden Glove award, voted by the conference on Wednesday. Kylie Kenney was named to the All-NEC second team.

Camarillo was an anchor for the Bulldogs in the infield this season. She posted career highs in fielding percentage (.979) and in double players turned with 11. She also had 63 putouts and 85 assists. Camarillo is the first player in program history to win the Golden Glove award.

Kenney went 8-7 on the year and recorded career-bests in complete games (2), innings pitched (96.2), strikeouts (80), K/7 (5.79), and era with a 3.11. Kenney dominated in conference play producing a 7-2 record with a 2.85 ERA and 56 strikeouts. This is the first time Kenney has earned an All-NEC honor.
