Kuhar named NEC Scholar-Athlete; 104 earn Honor Roll nods

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University student-athletes finished the 2017-18 academic year strong, with 104 Bulldogs earning Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll accolades, highlighted by men’s tennis’ Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) who was named the sport’s Spring Scholar-Athlete. 26 student-athletes were named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Switzer announces two new hires to coaching staff

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University cross country and track and field head coach Mitchell Switzer has announced two new hires to his Bulldogs staff for the 2018-19 season. Brian Fuller will be the Black and Gold’s new Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field coach, while Michael Hulme will be the new Assistant Track and Field coach.
Bryant captures fifth-straight NEC Men's Commissioner's Cup

Varney, Laube selected to attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Sophomore Emily Cluck (Johnson City, N.Y.) shattered the 400-meter school record over the weekend as the Bryant University track and field team competed at three different events over the weekend: the George Davis Invite at UMass Lowell, a beach weekend event at Long Beach State and the Mt. SAC Relays at El Camino College.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – In school-record fashion, Bryant University track and field senior Melissa Lodge (Hopkinton, Mass.) won the 5k in the Bulldogs’ appearance at the Ocean State Invite over the weekend, held at Brown University. Bryant athletes also competed at the SCSU Northeast Combined Events Challenge, held at Southern Connecticut State in New Haven, Conn.
