As a junior: Competed as one of Bryant's primary throwers in 2019-20. 

Indoor – Threw weight throw across five meets in 2019-20 … Set a personal-best of 13.87m at the Bates Invitational ranking him eighth all-time in Bryant’s Top-10 Record Book … Finished 18th at the NEC Indoor Championship with a throw of 12.71m.

As a sophomore: Enjoyed a solid 2018-19 season as a thrower.  

Indoor – Competed once during the indoor season at the URI Tribute to Bill Falk in weight throw posting an 11.19m mark.

Outdoor – Competed in hammer throw … Set a new personal-best of 39.12m at the NEC Championship finishing 14th overall.

As a freshman: Primarily competed as a thrower for the Bulldogs during his rookie season.

Indoor – Appeared in two meets competing in the 60m … Posted a top time of 9.02 at the Brown Invitational.

Outdoor – Competed in javelin, hammer throw, and discus … Posted top marks of 40.79m in javelin, 31.29m in discus, and 29.54m in hammer throw.

Before Bryant: Competed in the javelin at Oakmont Regional High School under coach Dan Dufour ... Won a league championship in his senior season with a throw of 141' 10". Also competed in basketball and football at the varsity level, winning the 2016-17 league championship in the former.

Personal: The son of Jeffrey and Susan Sargent ... Has two brothers, Josh and Jake.
