Bulldogs set to compete in Dartmouth Relays

DARTMOUTH, N.H. – The Bryant University men's and women's track and field team is back in action tomorrow when they hit the road for the Dartmouth Relays this Friday, Jan. 10. The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with the men's 60m hurdles.

BULLDOGS NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • Friday marks the second time in Bryant's history that the Bulldogs will compete in the Dartmouth Relays.
  • Last season the men finished eighth out of nine teams while the women trailed in ninth out of 10 total teams.
  • Seven Bulldogs entered Bryant's Top-10 record book one year ago.
  • Sophomore Jason Dolan (Westford, Mass.) highlighted the Bulldogs in the meet finishing 11th overall in the 3,000m with a time of 8:49.57. Dolan ranks seventh all-time at Bryant for his performance.
  • Sophomore Shileigh Martinez (North Kingstown, R.I.) cleared 3.00m in pole vault at Dartmouth last season and is now third all-time.
  • Bryant's 4x200 squad made up of Adam Winiarz (Norton, Mass.), Andrew Canale (Lincroft, N.J.)Brian Murray (Westford, Mass.), and recent Bryant alum Alec Binette finished third out of six relay squads. The team posted a time of 1:31.51 and ranks second in Bryant's record book.
