BULLDOGS NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • Bryant is among 22 Division I teams as 66 total teams across New England are set to compete this weekend.
  • Last year at the NEICAAA Championship, the Bulldogs walked away with a new school record on the men's side in the 4x800 relay. The team of Jordan Dagrin (North Kingstown, R.I.), Christopher Wrenn (Norton, Mass.), Jason Dolan (Westford, Mass.), and recent alum Brian Salit '19 crossed the finish line at 7:50.87 in sixth place.
  • Dolan continued to excel at last year's meet as he finished fourth overall in the 800m with a time of 1:53.33 placing him second all-time at Bryant.
  • Junior Chris Fasano (Lake Grove, N.Y.) currently ranks eighth in New England in shot put as he's set to compete this weekend in the event. Fasano is the current record holder at Bryant with a 15.70m mark. This season, Fasano threw a season-best 15.54m at the 2020 Dartmouth Relays earlier this month.
  • After a record-breaking and dominant performance in the 400m, senior Emily Cluck (Johnson City, N.J.) returns to the starting line as the top runner in New England in the event. Cluck broke Bryant's school record last meet at BU with a time of 54.88 and ranks 40th nationally.
  • Sophomore Nicole Xiarhos (Berlin, Conn.) is among the top-10 in New England in the 200m ranking seventh. Her best time came at BU last weekend with a time of 24.85.
  • Freshman Lily LaGoy (San Diego, Calif.) qualified for New England's in her collegiate debut at the Alden Invitational in shot put. Lagoy threw for a personal-best 12.75m.
