Bulldogs to compete in Gordon Kelly Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The Bryant University men's and women's track and field teams travel to MIT this weekend for the Gordon Kelly Invitational as they prep for the NEC Championships. The Bulldogs are set to compete on Saturday, Feb. 15 with events starting at 12 p.m.

BULLDOGS NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • Saturday marks the first time in Bryant's history that the Bulldogs will compete in the Gordon Kelly Invitational. The only other time the Bulldogs competed at MIT was in 2012 when the squad competed in the MIT Coed Invitational.
  • The Gordon Kelly Invitational is the last meet for the Bulldogs until the NEC Championship.
  • Over ten men and ten women set new personal bests at URI last weekend.
  • Freshman Emma Garrity (Wilmington, Mass.) posted one of the best finished last meet in the 400m. The rookie finished third overall with a time of 1:00.00.
  • Junior Anthony Holloway (Forked River, N.J.) set a season-best at URI in long jump with a 5.99m mark.
