    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s outdoor track & field team finished fifth while the women’s finished sixth at the 2021 Northeast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The Bulldogs took home eight medals across and broke two school records in the second day of the championship meet.

  • Bryant primed to host NEC Championship

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men’s and women’s outdoor track and field team is set to host the Northeast Conference Outdoor Championship for the first time ever in Smithfield. Events begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1 as the men kick off the meet with a 10,000m run. The women’s events will compete in the afternoon on both days following the men.

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's track and field team won Saturday's meet over American International and Brown while the men finished second as the teams prepare for the NEC Championship next weekend. Four broken school records and one facility record highlighted the meet as multiple Bulldogs set new personal bests and finished first overall in their respective events.

The Bulldogs are set to host the last two meets of 2021 including the NEC Championship. 
  • Thomas breaks shot put record at Merrimack

    NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Sophomore Kasey Thomas shined at Merrimack on Saturday afternoon as the Bryant University men’s and women’s track and field team competed at Merrimack. Thomas shattered the outdoor shotput record at Bryant and helped the women’s team score 92 points and finish third in the team standings. The men accumulated 113 points and also finished third behind both Merrimack and Assumption.

    SOMERSET, N.J. – Jason Dolan, Nick Alessandro, and Emmett Ruote of the Bryant University men’s track and field team swept the Northeast Conference weekly awards. Ruote earned Rookie of the Week honors while Dolan was named Track Athlete and Alessandro was named Field Athlete of the Week.

  • Athletes participate in Bryant Votes initiative

    Smithfield, R.I – Amanda Whitman of the Bryant University track and field team, and Jordan Dagrin of the cross country team both participated in the Bryant Votes campaign during the fall semester. Bryant Votes is an initiative run by students, faculty, and staff that encourages everyone to vote and tries to relay the message of how important everyone’s vote is.
