Bryant to host Brown and AIC on Saturday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's and women's outdoor track and field team preps for the NEC Outdoor Championship when they welcome both Brown and American International to Smithfield on Saturday, April 24.

BULLDOGS NOTES AND NOTABLES

  • William Remkiewicz posted his fourth-straight first-place finish at the George Davis Invitational last week. The rookie posted a time of 48.88 in the 400m.
  • Junior William Bittrich moved to sixth in the NEC in the 3000m steeple when he posted a ninth-place finish at UMass Lowell. Bittrich posted a time of 9:54.38.
  • In pole vault, Nicholas Mirecki ranks fourth in the conference after his career debut at the George Davis Invitational. Mirecki cleared a height of 4.20m.
  • Freshman Shelby DeGrenier etched her name in Bryant's record book in the 400m hurdles last week. Degrenier finished tenth with a time of 1:13.80 which ranks her seventh all-time and ranks her 14th in the conference.
  • Saturday's meet will be the last for the Bulldogs before the NEC Championship. The Championship meet will be hosted by Bryant on May 2-3 on NEC Front Row.
