USTFCCCA honors Track and Field programs

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's and women's track and field teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors for their performance in the classroom this past semester.

In addition, men's track and field standouts Jason Dolan and Nick Alessandro earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Bryant's men's team finished the year with a 3.335 team GPA, while the women earned a 3.555 team GPA.

Dolan became the first Bulldog to compete at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships East Preliminary, running the 800. Alessandro had a record-breaking year in the javelin, setting the school record and earning a silver medal at the Northeast Conference Championships.
