As a junior (2021)
Outdoor - Part of 4x400 relay that won a gold medal and set a school record at the NEC Championships ... Quartet finished first with a time of 3:13.01 ... Also helped 4x400 relay team earn All-East honors with a third-place finish at the IC4A/ECAC Championships.

As a sophomore: Continued to break records and was one of Bryant's top runners in 2019-20.

Indoor – Competed in six meets for the Black & Gold during the 2020 indoor season … Shattered the 600m school record at the Bates Invitational and finished in first place with a time of 1:22.36 … Set personal-bests in the 400 (48.89) and 500m (1:05.63) and ranks third all-time in Bryant’s Top-10 Record Book in both events … Helped both the 4x200 and the 4x400 relay teams break into Bryant’s record book ranking fourth all-time in the 4x200 with a time of 1:32.26, and eighth all-time in the 4x400m with a time of 3:22.02 … Finished fifth overall in the 4x400 and the 400m at the NEC Indoor Track and Field Championship … Named to both the winter and spring NEC Academic Honor Roll.

As a freshman: Set records and enjoyed a successful rookie campaign.

Indoor – Competed in eight events during the indoor season … In his indoor collegiate debut, Canale helped his 4x200 team to a third-place finish at the Dartmouth Relays with a time of 1:31.51 … Posted top times of 7.45 in the 60m, 22.59 in the 200m, 49.34 in the 400m, 1:06.08 in the 500m, and 1:26.07 in the 600m … Helped Men’s DMR team make school history at the IC4A Championship by breaking the program record with a time of 10:01.15 and becoming the first relay team to earn All-East honors for Bryant ... Earned NEC All-Rookie Team laurels.

Outdoor – Primarily competed in the 200m and 400m … Ranks second all-time at Bryant in the 200m with a time of 21.81 in the preliminary heat at the NEC Championship … Took home a bronze medal in the 400m at NECs with a time of 48.26 ranking third all-time … Helped 4x400 team finish third at NECs with a time of 3:15.98 ... Named to the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

Before Bryant: Was a four-year letter winner in track & field ... Helped his indoor track & field team become conference and state champions three years in a row ... Earned All-Shore Conference Team in the 4x4 in indoor and outdoor track as a sophomore ... Helped his outdoor track & field team become conference and state champions two years in a row ... Selected as 2018 New Jersey First Team All-State in the 400m dash as a senior ... Volunteered at the Jersey Shore Medical Center ... Second Honors.

Personal: Son of Gina and Nick Canale ... Has two brothers, Justin and Dean, and two sisters, Nicolette and Gianna.
